Apple shipped visionOS 27 on September 14, 2026, and Vision Pro is one of two platforms where the new Siri AI reaches the EU at launch. Apple's own release listings date the build, its newsroom post names the regions, and the assistant the release leads on ships as a beta in English.

What Apple published
Apple's newsroom post of September 14 says the new features "start rolling out today" across iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, visionOS 27 and tvOS 27. Two further Apple listings put the same date on the build itself. The security releases page records visionOS 27 for Apple Vision Pro on 14 Sep 2026, and the developer releases page gives visionOS 27.0, build 24M362, on September 14, 2026.
Two additions are specific to the headset rather than carried over from Apple's other platforms. Spatial Mac previewing brings 3D models from a Mac into the wearer's space to preview and edit, which is aimed at people who build 3D content. Spatial scenes turn a panorama into a scene that can be set as a personal Environment, and Apple says Vision Pro owners can do this now.
Where Siri AI is available, by region and platform
This is the half the launch coverage passed over, and the wording is Apple's own. Siri AI "begins rolling out as a beta in English", with French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish "coming in October".
Apple then splits its own platforms by region. "Mac and Apple Vision Pro users in the EU will be able to access Siri AI when set to a supported language," it writes, while "Siri AI will not be available initially in the EU in iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS." A European owner gets the new assistant on a headset and a Mac, and not on an iPhone, an iPad or a Watch. Apple gives no reason for the split and publishes no date for the three platforms it leaves out. Neither Siri AI nor the other new Apple Intelligence features reach China, which Apple attributes to working through regulatory requirements.
The word beta is Apple's too. Apple Intelligence as a whole lists sixteen supported languages. Siri AI, the feature this release is built around, starts with one, and Apple's visionOS page carries the same caveat in three words: "Available in English to start."
Why a dated release is worth recording
Vision Pro is the only device visionOS runs on, so a shipped visionOS release is the clearest published signal of what the platform is doing in a given year. It is worth being precise about what it is not. A dated operating system release says nothing about new hardware, a price change or a second device, and Apple has published none of those.
