Rokid's AIUI Studio is an online development environment for building agents that run on its AI glasses, and Rokid says it works without physical glasses hardware. The studio itself opens a Rokid account login. The framework underneath it is public, and its release history can be dated to the day.

What Rokid publishes about AIUI Studio
The Rokid Open Platform calls AIUI Studio "an online IDE for building AIUI Agents", integrating an AIUI Skills Library and code assistance, with a built-in runtime and one-click publishing so a developer can design, code, debug and deploy "without needing physical glasses hardware".
That last clause is the commercially interesting one. Rokid Glasses carries a $799 list price, so building without a pair on the desk is the difference between evaluating a platform and committing to it. The same page states that registration and verification unlock AIUI Studio, the developer forum and the YodaOS SDK, and puts the developer community at more than 33,000, which is Rokid's own figure.
Following the AIUI Studio link reaches a Rokid account sign-in. No feature list, pricing or availability for the studio is published outside the login, and none is reported here.
The framework under the studio is older than the studio
ROKID.js documents the layer AIUI Studio builds on. Rokid describes an agentic framework with tool rendering and A2UI built in, an Open Agent Format that defines a standard directory structure and manifest for agent projects, a Rust core, packages held under 5MB and debugging through the Chrome DevTools Protocol. Its own platform diagram lists Android, iOS, YodaOS Sprite, macOS and a web browser.
The dates are public. The scaffolding command Rokid prints on that page resolves to @yodaos-pkg/create-aiui-agent, first published on April 25, 2026 and last updated to 2.1.3 on July 15, 2026. The developer tools repository has been public since February 25, 2026 and was still taking commits on September 21, 2026. Rokid's own developer blog carries two articles, both dated May 31, 2026, one of them tagged as a release and titled as an AIUI version overview.
No dated Rokid announcement of AIUI Studio was located on the open platform, the developer blog or the company's global site, checked September 21, 2026. None is claimed here, and Rokid may have announced it on a channel this desk does not read.
The developers this framework recruits are not the usual ones
Rokid's published architecture puts "Weixin MiniProgram APIs" alongside web standard APIs, and names wx.request, wx.setStorage and wx.getSystemInfo among the calls a developer uses, with index.wxml and index.wxss in the page layer. That is the WeChat Mini Program toolchain. The people best placed to ship a Rokid agent on day one are mini-program developers rather than the Unity and Android developers most smart glasses platforms recruit.
One more thing is worth reading against the marketing. Rokid's page marks Ink, the runtime under AIUI, as coming soon, and links it to the jsar-project/ink repository. The npm package @yodaos-pkg/ink points at that same repository, has published 147 versions, reached 0.17.1 on September 1, 2026 and carries a daily build channel dated September 21, 2026. A component labeled as not yet arrived is shipping releases.
